ALPENA – The Alpena Wildcat hockey team is off to another solid start this season and hopes are high that the team can make another long playoff run when the regular season ends. Learn to curl event on Saturday

There will be a "Learn to Curl” event on Saturday, Jan. 3 at Northern Lights sponsored by the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan. Time slots are available at 10 a.m. and pre-registration is encouraged. Participants should wear warm, comfortable clothes and bring clean-soled athletic shoes. Plan on a two hour block of time.
