Joyce Elizabeth Kissau, 89, of Hubbard Lake passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland. Joyce Elizabeth Tucker was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Alpena to the late Lawrence and Irene (Luscombe) Tucker. On Aug. 1, 1953, she married Arnold Kissau. Joyce was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, and playing cards. Joan G. Emington, 93, of Lincoln, passed away Nov. 14, 2022, at her home. Born Sept. 22, 1929, to Roy and Hortense (LaBerge) McMurray in Saginaw, she was raised there. On Feb. 13, 1954, she married James ‘Jim’ Emington in Tawas, Michigan. Joan earned a Master of Science in physical Education from the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University. She was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Sorority. She taught in Dearborn, Mt. Clemens, and at Alcona Community Schools. Mark Alan Klee, 64, of Burnsville, Minnesota, formerly of Alpena passed away Oct. 27, 2022, due to an extended illness. Mark was born Aug. 6, 1958, in Alpena to Patrick Klee and Deanna Dietlin. He loved his pets and enjoyed golfing, and classic rock. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Mae Kasubowski, 92, of Maple Ridge Twp., passed away peacefully at home Nov. 11, 2022. Mae was born July 1, 1930, in Alpena to the late George and Madelyn (Evans) Haken. She was a strong, independent, hard-working person. Mae worked for many years at Tops Lunch before moving on to the Tempo/Big Wheel Department Store and eventually landing at Wal-Mart where she worked from its opening day until her retirement. EVELYN FRIEDA (NEE LENTZ) TOUCHETTE

Evelyn Frieda (nee Lentz) Touchette, 89, of Alpena died Nov. 15, 2022, at Davison Assisted Living. Evelyn was born on Feb. 25, 1933, in Hazel Park, Michigan. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Spragg of Alpena; daughter-in-law, June Touchette of Imlay City; grandsons, Ian (Kristine Lueckeman) Spragg, Eric (Sheila Palmer) Spragg, Jason (Sasha) Touchette; and eight great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, John Touchette in 2015; son, Michael Touchette in 2020; and several siblings. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Deborah Jane Rouleau, 52, of Alpena passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at MediLodge of Alpena. Deborah was born Nov. 8, 1969, in Alpena to Robert and Theo (Durecki) Rouleau. She worked in Walmart in the bakery and was a member of Friends Together-W.O.W. group. Deborah loved her cats.
