ALPENA - Wood located at the wood lot on U.S.-23 North, next to Suburban Propane, is open for applications from community members, according to a City of Alpena press release. The wood located at this lot came from the removal of city street trees. Adjacent homeowners were given the first right of refusal for this wood. ALPENA — Frederick Bobolts, 62, was bound over on assault, child abuse, and stalking charges on Wednesday in the 88th District Court in Alpena. Bobolts had multiple assault, domestic violence, child abuse, and stalking charges filed against him, and one charge for animals killing/torturing.
