Sandra Jean Lehmann, full of love and adventure, passed away peacefully on Aug. 31, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on Jan. 13, 1941, in Ohio, Sandra's life was a testament to her unwavering kindness and her zest for life. Sandra's journey began as the cherished daughter of Wilbur and Betty Jordan and grew alongside her sisters, Patty Thornell and Joyce Jordan. Sandra's academic achievements culminated in a Bachelor of Nursing, a profession through which she touched countless lives with her care and empathy.
Sandra was a devoted mother to Michele Martin, Melinda Lehmann, Michael Lehmann, Mary Miller, and Mathew Lehmann. Her love only multiplied with the arrival of her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored with every fiber of her being. Sandra was preceded in death by her son Marc Lehmann, a loss she bore with grace and strength, as well as her beloved parents and sisters. Adventurous at heart, Sandra found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid driver, relishing the freedom of the open road and exploring new destinations. Traveling was more than a hobby; it was a passion that allowed her to experience the world's vast beauty and diversity. Her adventurous spirit was equally matched by her love for shopping, where she found delight in discovering treasures for herself and her loved ones. Sandra's interests also reflected her appreciation for nature's wonders. She was a keen bird watcher, marveling at the grace of her feathered friends. Moreover, she enjoyed the thrill of playing the lottery, always hopeful and optimistic about the possibilities that lay ahead.
Per Sandra's wishes she has been taken for cremation with no services planned at this time. McWilliams Funeral Home has assisted the family.
