ALPENA — The contractor for the City of Alpena will begin road striping on Friday on the following roadways: Long Rapids Road from Bagley Street to MediLodge, Ripley Boulevard from M-32 to the railroad tracks, North 2nd Avenue from Fletcher Street to the 2nd Avenue Bridge, and Hueber Street from North 2nd Avenue to Ford Avenue. The road striping was originally scheduled to start today, but it has been postponed because of rainy weather.
