Members of Alpena's Level 3, Level 4, excel silver and excel gold groups will compete with about 20 local gymnasts taking part. This will be the group's first meet where they will be scored with a point system. The group wanted to take part in the meet and this meet will give them a chance to move on to district and national meets if their scores are good enough. The group includes: coach Billy Brousseau, Lindsey Donajkowski, Eva Lusardi, Sam Tadian, Paige Bruski, Tayler Hansen-Bates, Karli Meyers, Cassidy Beach, Erika Johnson, Jamie Beaubein, coach Geri Samp, Maggie Thayer, Mia Couture, Alayna Sims, Riley Labarge, Sydnie Lipski, Faith Dragiewicz, Lola Tolan-Halleck, Grace Samp, Laurel Alberts, Callie Brousseau, Paige Samp, Fiona Tolan-Halleck and Sadie VranVolkenburg. Not pictured is Sara Campbell. The group held a mock meet at the APlex on Tuesday to prepare for next weekend.
