Wildcats tie TC Central on the road

TRAVERSE CITY-After a less than stellar performance on Wednesday, the Alpena boys soccer team bounced back on Thursday, playing Traverse City Central to a 1-1 tie.

Evan LeTourneau scored 15 minutes into the game for Alpena (9-5-2, 2-4-1 Big North) with an assist from Kyle Supiran. The Wildcats held the lead until the Trojans netted the equalizer with 17 minutes to go.

“It was a good result and a good game, especially with (us playing) three games in three nights. (Keeper) Levi Goebel played well, the back line played well and it was a solid game for everybody,” Alpena coach Tim Storch said.
