The Alpena 13U and 16U teams will be in action starting today with games against Macomb Clinton Valley. The games will take place at the Alpena High School varsity baseball field, with a $5 gate fee.

The weekend games between both Alpena and Macomb will be a best of three format, with a single game for each age group played tomorrow no matter what today’s outcome may be.

The 13U teams will play at 10 am and 3 pm today and finish up at 10 am tomorrow. The 16U team will play at noon and 5:30 pm today before playing the final game at 12:30 tomorrow.

Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each age group on Sunday following the final game.

The winners will then advance to play in Crown Point, Indiana .
