Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Lieutenant Dan is a very laid back fellow. Quite amiable. He's just gone along with the Republican leadership too often, which has been exceedingly weak with Obozo at the Big Top. They're afraid to take him on or hold him accountable.

It seems as if Dan votes with John Boehner straight down the line. My favorite thing about him is that he's not a democrat.

There used to be decent democrats years ago...like Zell Miller. Folks with principles. That party has lurched way to far left. Commie territory. They're like a country wrecking crew today. It's like Karl Marx is their pimp and they his prostitutes.

Oh well, the sun's up and the coffee tasty. Time to sizzle up some bacon and eggs.

Just finished a short email to congressman Dan. I like this guy and what he has been doing for the 1st district. I hope he continues to serve. I wrote him about this disturbing trend to disallow vets their right to display an American flag.

NS. You have some talents in patience I could use.

Anyway, enjoy that Grandkid visit!!!

One more thing. If you can target shoot on your own property let me know. I'll come over with all kinds of weapons and we can play. Going skeet shooing on a 500 acre farm next week. Pistols and AR-15 too. One word, Tannerite! Aaaahahahahaha.

Yay! Did I mention that I went up in an ultra-light aircraft a few weeks ago? OMG, that was awesome!!!

Gotta go. I hope to meet you in person. I'm just a little fella, full of love and smiles. Yucky huh?

I just love regular people. You included. If you ever need serious help, I am not very far away sir. (rshill7@gmail****)

When I help people, I feel Jesus welling up inside me. I know, that's weird. True but weird. I just love me some Jesus. He's the manliest man I know. I wish I were more like him, but I'm me, and that's all I'll ever be. All I can do is make an effort in my own different way.

He said that we are his body. I might be his butt, I don't know. I just wanna be a part..and so, I type, I act, I do. Don't know what else to do...but I gotta do something. So do you.

I understand.

I have no idea why Amos has this obsession with religion. or non-religion. God or No God what Amos is missing is the complexity of where religion fits into the society.

I wish many people with kids could say that. No one ever went to his or her grave saying, "I wish I had spent less time with my kids and more time at work".

My second grandchild will be born in a few brief months :-)

I want the country back which I was raised in. I miss her. I miss her as if she were my wife who'd just left me. Fortunately my wife of more than 25 years, has not. She's a cutie for sure. Maybe I'm not so bad after all, especially if she has chosen to stay with me all this time.

My kids are just awesome. I couldn't love them any more than I do. They are all still in their twenties and do not live at home with my Cutie Beauty and I.

Yay!

Hasty words in a heated debate - I retract. But you do seen to have that effect on people sometimes. :) But I do remember your offer to help build my fence after Max was hit.

Let me just say this RS. Without my Education and the time out from the “real world” it gave me (I was not long out of the military when I went to college) I think my life and the lives of my children would have taken a very different and perhaps dangerous path. I have some regrets for those 6 years but looking back now decades later I made a good decision.

Oh RS, there was the pan handling thing when I was in the field . . . . does that count?

Norm, they can claim “constitution-free” zones all they want. There is no such thing it will crumble with a court challenge. If you are a citizen you are under the protection of constitutional rights.

RS, Have I earned a dime from my degree? You mean in the field? No, But I've taught classes as a guest speaker for stipends, I've sold copies of my research notes to other researchers. Understanding a local culture aided me a lot in designing sales when I ran my own business and as a bridge inspector representing an engineering company the ability to problem solve and mediate on the fly (by understanding interests and culture) between town selectmen, the contractor and the engineering company has earned me bonuses and a good reputation. And then there is the book. I've always wanted to write – so who knows. An education is never wasted.

I believe I succeeded. He died after I moved on. He might be in Heaven today.

I've led several people to Jesus on a personal, one on one basis. Many "Christians" have never, ever, done that. I'm very proud of it. Both for me and for them. Mostly for them. If I could lead 57 and Normy back to Jesus, that would be awesome. If it happens for them, they needn't make mention of it. I'm a mere Johnny Appleseed, just planting those rascals and hoping they grow. I do it in an unorthodox way though for sure.

I'd just as soon win 'em to Jesus as kick their physical******with my bare hands

My degree is in Nursing. I wanted to help people, including saving their lives...and souls. There was such a long delay until the next State Exam though in SC., that I had to get another job, which was in retail management, as I had already shown that I was an extraordinary saleman and sales manager. I took the job and never got my actual Nursing License. I suppose I'd be making about $50.00 per hour today had I persude it.

During my clinicals though, I believe I saved a guys life who had been shot in the chest with a 22 caliber bullet in the lungs, quite close to his heart. His lungs had collapsed also. He was going into anaphylactic shock and I noticed that while taking his vitals etc. and alerted the Doc. That was back in the 90's. As far as I know, he's still fine.

I also followed a patient who was dying of cancer. He was in his 40's. I watched them remove his spleen and toss it into a stainless steel bowl. I tried to lead him to Jesus through his family.

But I won't hold it against you, as it might cause you to spontaneously combust, or wish me death by fire once again :-)

So, believe it or not. I have tried to argue both sides of it (God vs. no God), and cannot with any measure of effectiveness, argue the contrary point of view...that which 57 (him who hateth what doesn't exist) does. He can't either. All he can do is hit and run drive with it, on a moped, seated behind Normotorcyclist, and loving it.

Their views cannot stand debate or srutiny. Yours probably can't either. If you think they can, please feel free to present them. So far though, all you've done is admit you don't know. At least thats much less veracity challenged than what 57 has ever done.

I had to smile, both when I read what your degree was in and what your specialty was, at least at one point. "Participant Observeration". I'd wager 15 cents, you've never earned a dime directly from that particular "education".

Yes, we all do stupid things while young. Extending that stupidity to a full degree, then following through on said degree, a bit more stupid than aver

This hit the fan in 2010. Normy just heard about it apparently. Good for him. He 's obviously strayed somewhat from his Norm'al news sources. Him branching out. 'Tis time.

NS: Do you ever wonder what made 57 hate, and campaign against something (someone actually) that, according to him, doesn't exist?

By the way, I, after much research into it...years and years, still believe every single word of both the New and Old Testaments of the Holy Bible. It's a singular Book. Not one jot or tittle of which, anyone has ever proven wrong. If you've never witnessed a miracle, join that club. I am not a member of it, as I have, more than once. I have also felt the presence of Jesus, and have seen His angels fighting Demons and kicking their asses, right in my own room. The Angels used mighty swords. The Demons dispersed with a puff of red smoke. Normy on the other hand puffs greenish/grey smoke, as does 57, only his be less whacky, though one wouldn't know it by reading him.

You've abandoned the argument Normicrometer. Good. You had already lost a few posts back.

Amerika? Is that the Commie version praytell? Have you recognized what Surefried has finally realized, and thus hates me even more because he has recognized it?

Due to lawsuits and appeals this "Constitution Free Zone" should be much smaller than 100 miles from the border as that border encircles our country.

However, consider the NSA and what it is, and has been doing, as well as their new facilty in Utah. They have the capability to record every key stroke, every phone call, every web search, and every time you turn the channel on your tv.

It appears that newer cars can also give Government access to their computer systems too. In other words, the Government can run you off the road, slam on your brakes or your accelerator, and even lock all your doors in such as way that you can't get out...oh all sorts of things your mind can imagine disastrous results occurring from.
