Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

surefoot, it seems that way, but there is a reason Romney vetted and rejected Christie other than his *****, which there are reports Romney mocked. Whatever it is about Christie will come out, and NJ will be vetted and discovered to still be a dump hole with little improvement under Christie.

Greetings from Dixie, Atlanta GA.

Haven't watched Billy since the 60's. I think you're right about Franklin, norm, because I don't recall Billy ever endorsing anyone until Romney, then he endorsed him and took Mormonism being a cult off his website. Franklin was smart enough to get straight and hop on the gravy train.

I will most likely watch Thursday Night Football.

Much to the dislike of the Tea Baggers, Chris Christie will be the next GOP nominee in the 2016 election.

Now rshill will have to eat his words that he said about Chris after Chris welcomed and thanked President Obama for his help after the Sandy Storm.

The Tea Baggers are now relegated to the backwoods where they belong, just like embarrassing relatives are.

Billy Graham is an anachronistic religious figure who has avoided meddling in the political arena, unlike his son Franklin, who is attempting to hijack his father's legacy into the political realm, and his choice of guests illustrates just that. Franklin is NO Billy.

Billy Graham? You mean the 95 year old man who will have a birthday party, featuring Donald Trump and Sarah Palin? No thanks, I prefer Graham Parker.

And your point? Unusual happens every day, from the first atom (!) to finding a wheat penny (Monday).

There are also four "blood moons" coming up, along with a solar eclipse, beginning this Spring. Here's the thing. They all fall on Jewish feast days including Passover twice, The Feast Of Tabernacles twice, and the solar eclipse on Rosh Hashanah.

The Messiah has revealed to me that He will not present Himself until after the death of our prime minister, Ariel Sharon.”

Just a little more than two months later, events took an eerie turn as Ariel Sharon, the 11th prime minister of Israel, suffered a massive stroke and lapsed into a coma, a state in which he remains to date.

Then 24 days after Sharon’s medical calamity, Rabbi Kaduri himself died after a brief bout with pneumonia.

Before his death, the rabbi had left a mysterious letter, which he instructed was to be unsealed a year after his own death.

When it was finally made public, the name of the Messiah whom Kaduri met after years of praying and fasting was Yehoshua – the formal name for Yeshua, or Jesus in the Greek."

How unusual is that?

'Infinity' suggests 'unbounded by space, time, and quantity', which is anything BUT creation. Again, you cannot use a bible to explain science.

"Rabbi Kaduri, a celebrated figure for decades in Judaism, as a person you’d least expect to carry the torch for Jesus, proclaiming His name not only to Jews, but to others across the globe.

“I have met the Messiah,” Kaduri told his followers on the Day of Atonement in 2005.

“He has appeared to me in a vision. He has attached his soul to a particular person in Israel. I will spend this day teaching you how to recognize the Messiah, for He shall appear soon. You must be ready for His coming. Many events of awe will take place before His coming … but they will happen quickly.’”

As the rabbi commanded everyone’s undivided attention and with all eyes in the congregation fixed on their beloved teacher, Kaduri somberly continued: “I must tell you something disturbing.

“I have no specific information to give you on the following matter other than what I am about to share with you now …

All you "young healthies" out there, again, please go and sign up as soon as you are able.

Time has come to "pay the piper" and, literally, put your money where your mouth [vote] is. <-Period

Jax mentioned that the federal funding of the medicaid expansion would only drop to 90% by 2020. He's right, however, the 90% funding is only for the expanded population. That's the problem.

The issue is that the Michigan taxpayer will be left holding the bag for a much larger population of Medicaid recipients. The governor has some good ideas that he attached as a condition to the acceptance of the expansion funding, we'll see.

I'm going to be a second time Grandpa later this month, and I'm not looking forward to explaining to them what life was like when men and women were free. When will mankind ever learn?

Must history continue to repeat itself? Why can't Government leave us alone? I don't get it. I suppose it comes down to this. Evil will never go away. We are in a time when it is pervasive.

Force and Freedom don't play well together. They just have 3 letters in common, but that's where the commonality ends. I'm not sure what I'll do without freedom. I'll pine for it certainly...already have...continuously do. Too many laws and regulations.

Don't want to ask my reps how many laws they've passed this year. Want to ask them how many they've repealed. I want some Freedom back.

Correction: "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive."

Normenses: Science follows the available evidence. Science does not begin with a theory then search for corroborating evidence. It simply follows the evidence, wherever the evidence leads. The evidence looks a lot more like creation than it does macro-evolution. What a coincidence.

If it looked like macro-evolution, the fossil record would be replete with transitional species. Name one....and 57 doesn't count :-)

Anyway, now O' is lying about his lies. I'm on my 13th Sir Walter Scott novel. He's the one who coined the phrase: "Oh tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive."<-quotation mark

"...And your 'god' made this all in seven days. Incredible...."

Kind of a prerequisite for being "God", don't you think? Being "incredible"... Just a thought. <-Period

amos is to stupid to differentiate between matters of faith and matters of state.

Don't you ever get tired of equating everything to religion? How simple can one person's mind be.

Day 1-Night and day...Day 2-Sky and sea...Day 3. Land and vegetation...Day 4. Stars, sun and moon ...Day 5. Sea creatures including fish and birds...Day 6.- Animals and mankind...Day 7. Rest

Also, There are seven periods of creation recorded in the beginning of Genesis. Although each of these has been translated as a “day”, the Hebrew word is “yom” which simply means a period of time with a beginning and an ending. Is each day a 24 hour day? Very well could be, but does not have to be.

I suppose your theory is that everything came from nothing? That's similar to "my" theory too...kinda'. It came from God. But he is not nothing.

The Big Bang Theory states that everything came from an infinitely dense "singularity". In other words, everything, the entire mass of the universe, came from an infinitely tiny, infinitely dense, point. Sounds like creation to me. What does it sound like to you?

NASA now estimates that there could very possibly be up to 8.8 BILLION inhabitable planets in the Milky Way. Science, or Creationism? And there are billions of galaxies. And your 'god' made this all in seven days. Incredible.
