Kennedy is candidate for 106th state House

May 1, 2014
The Alpena News

Although the Alpena News did not cover the event, the Kickoff Meeting for Robert Kennedy's campaign took place at the Fletcher Street Brewery in Alpena on Saturday, April 19. Bob is running as a Democrat for the 106th District in the Michigan House of Representatives. The Kickoff Meeting was a big success, attended by about 70 people, who were quite enthusiastic about Bob's remarks, which centered on getting money out of politics and improving education in Michigan, among other issues. Those who would like to hear what Bob had to say can still do so, because his speech was recorded on video, and can be accessed directly on YouTube at or through the Campaign's Facebook page at which also contains photos of the April 19th event. I hope that people who agree with Bob's goal of diminishing the role of big money in our democracy will take the time to check out these resources and get involved with his campaign.
