Thoughts on stopping massacres in schools

Here are my thoughts on how to stop massacres in schools. Nearly all of the shooters have been students who have been bullied.

Immediately, start teaching students in kindergarten about bullying. Each year ALL students must take a class in bullying. This should be done every year until the student graduates from 12th grade. If a student bullies another student, that bully, as well as the parents, should have to go to counseling for the duration for whatever the courts see fit. The student should be closely monitored so he/she does not bully others during the school day or on any buses. All students should be encouraged to report any kind of bullying to school officials.

We know bullying can begin with making weird eyes, weird faces, sticking their tongue out at people or making demeaning noises to others. It should be taught in all of the many ways a person can be bullied.

How many people out there agree with me or have any other ideas that the schools should immediately enforce?

It’s not the guns that kill, but the kids who are bullied from kindergarten or throughout their years in school who need to retaliate. Guns seem to fit their anger toward others.

Teachers can keep an eye and ears on their students. Teachers must enforce the rules of bullying or they will be responsible for not doing something about it.
