If you look around the community you will find random acts of kindness everywhere in the midst of these dark days.

We have tried to showcase many of those wonderful acts on the front page of the newspaper in a consistent spot each day. And we always are on the lookout for more.

Such was the case earlier this week, when Meakalia Previch-Liu was out on assignment and she stumbled into the famous Disney princesses of “Frozen,” Anna and Elsa. Ironically the two princesses — who are more than well-versed on isolation — took advantage of the outside weather to spread “hope, happiness, and cheer” throughout the community.

The two (Shannon Vivero and Brittany Rouleau) did a wonderful thing by putting smiles on everyone’s faces who saw them. Their kindness is exactly the type of generosity needed right now for residents who have been cooped up inside their home because of the coronavirus.

We appreciate their effort, and we know many of you do, as well.
