Roy Allen, 82, of Hillman, Michigan died Dec. 5, 2025 with his daughter and son-in-law at his side. Roy was born on Sept. 6, 1943 in Union Lake, Michigan to the late Clyde and Marguerite Allen. He graduated from Union Lake High School and married Geraldine “Nurse Gerri” Cunningham in 1964 while working at Pontiac Motors. After moving to Atlanta in 1976 he worked from Essex to Wayne Wire. Roy was often found golfing somewhere in his free time.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Denise (Gerald) Kirchoff of Lachine; six loving grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gerri; son, “Rusty” Allen; four sisters and three brothers.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. Per Roy’s wishes there will be no services. Donations may be made in memory of Roy to Compassus Northern Michigan. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home. Condolence messages may be sent via our website at www.greenfuneralhomes.com.
