ROBERT C. KARSEN SR.

Born Feb. 11, 1935 to George and Eliza (Becker) Karsen in Harrisville, he was raised in Mikado. Bob served in the U.S. Navy for ten years. On Dec. 1, 1956, he married Margaret Hart in Lincoln. They owned and operated Karsen Oil in Lincoln for 32 years and retired in 2010. Bob was a member of the Alcona Lodge #292 F. & A.M. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He played golf and hockey and enjoyed snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle.

Bob is survived by his wife, Marge, three children, Robert (Tracie) Karsen Jr., Cheryl (Bryan) MacNeill, and Ricky Karsen, six grandchildren, Brandon and Cortney Karsen, Ashley Borchard, Chad MacNeill, and Lauren and Chaz Karsen, six great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty Belt, and three brothers, Richard Karsen Sr., Ronald (Carol) Karsen, and Frank Karsen. He was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Connor Kasubowski.

Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
