MARY MARGARET (DeCAIRE) AVERY
Mary Margaret (DeCaire) Avery, 79 of Alpena, passed away Jan. 2, 2021. Mary was born on Nov. 28, 1941 to the late Henry and Margaret (Tebo) DeCaire. She married Edward Avery on Jan. 28, 1961; he preceded her in death on May 14, 2018, after 57 years of marriage.
Mary is survived by her children, Mark (Gail) Avery, Jeff (MaryBeth) Avery, Tammy (Rick) Klis, John (Evelyn) Avery. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bradley (Christin) Avery, Renee (Wally) Roznowski, Daniel (Rebecca) Avery, Sarah (Cody) Tebo, Mary (Dave) Srebnik, Julie (Kevin) Tran, Megan, Chasity, Allison Avery. Mary also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren.
Not only was Mary preceded in death by her husband Ed, but also by her siblings, William, George and James DeCaire, Althea Mandock, Thelma Pena, and Kathryn Hansen.
Mary’s graveside committal service will be held on Friday, May 14 at 1 p.m. at Long Rapids Township Cemetery.
