KENNETH HENRY HAUFF

Kenneth Henry Hauff, 80, of Alpena passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

Ken was born in Alpena on April 7, 1940 to the late Martin and Ottillie (Weiss) Hauff. He married Lorie Flynn on July 5, 1997. She preceded him in death on June 18, 2017. He worked as an electrician for 58 years of service with I.B.E.W. and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, VFW Post 2496 Auxiliary, Moose Lodge and the Eagles. Ken owned and operated Old Town Family Restaurant. He enjoyed corvettes and Ramblin Rods Car Club.

Surviving are four children, Elizabeth Hurley, Timothy (Mia) Hauff, Matthew (Ra’Chelle) Hauff, Thomas (Tara) Hauff, 14 grandchildren, Johnna, Jason, Shawn, Brice, Drew, Kennan, Jona, Logan, Brandon, Ashton, Bret, Alayna, Paige, Ashley, five great-grandchildren, Kaylie-Mae, Isabella, Easton, Mason, Aubrey, fiancee Kathy Kehrer, sister, Diana Zinsli, brother, George (Betty) Hauff, several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hauff was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Randy Hurley, two brothers, Robert Hauff and Martin Hauff.

Memorial visitation will take place on Monday April 5, 2021 at the Bannan Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until the time of the private memorial service at 2 p.m. with Vicar Troy Spencer officiating. For those unable to attend due to the 25-person limitation, the memorial service will be streamed live at bannanfuneralhome.com. A celebration of life will follow at the Eagles.
