SHAWN KERRY O’DONNELL-STRALEY

Shawn Kerry O’Donnell was born in Alpena on April 5, 1967 to the late John and Joyce (Zolnierek) O’Donnell. On July 24, 1993 she married Steve Straley. Together they own and operate Alpena Furniture and Masters-LaLonde Shoes. Shawn has served on the Downtown Development Authority for numerous years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena. Her greatest joys were holding her title as mother and “BaaBee” to her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Steve, three daughters, Heather (Lance) Senske, Samantha (Justin Timm) Straley, Morgan (Ryley) Hale; four grandchildren, Brit and Brayden Senske, Kaden and Lucas Hale; eight siblings, Kathleen (Willie) Harrison, Kelly O’Donnell, Erin (Jonathan Panks) Messing, Gwen (Hugh) Spence, Shannon O’Donnell, Emmet (Denise) O’Donnell, Hugh O’Donnell, and Tara (Graham) Kannowski.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and will continue on Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
