LOIS EVELYN FRANTZ

Lois was born April 21, 19266 in Alpena to Alfred and Clara (Mielke) Krueger and had been a life-long resident of the Alpena area. She married Frederick E. Frantz on June 29, 1956. He preceded her in death on February 7, 2003. Lois was employed for many years as a secretary with Zeller Insurance Agency. She was a life-long active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

Surviving are a brother, Gerald (Ruth) Krueger of Alpena, 14 nieces and nephews, brother-in-law, James (Carol) Frantz of West Bloomfield, Michigan, two sisters-in-law; Phyllis Suszek and Patricia Frantz both of Alpena, a special great niece, Sarah Krueger and a special great-great niece Alexis Krueger. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mabel Duby.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Erickson officiating. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church. McWilliams Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
