BARBARA ANN ANDERSON

Barbara Ann Mischley was born on Feb. 15, 1946 in Alpena to the late Leo and June (Dove) Mischley. Barbara graduated from Catholic Central in 1964. She worked at Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health for 10 years and with Head Start for two years. On May 8, 1980, she married Thomas Anderson. Barbara was a member of the Disabled American Vet Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Women Moose, past member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Elks.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Anderson, daughters, Marci (Scott) Sample, Kimberly (Lorenzo) Gonzalez, son, Scotty Gartner (fiancee, Kerri Durfee); 10 grandchildren, Brett, Steven, Nathan, Christian, Aleighan, Britni, Tina, Kaylin, Collin, Kalynn; three great-grandchildren, Xander, Azaya, Sebastian; two brothers, Stanley (Mary) Mischley, Greg (Kathy) Mischley, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her son, Mike Hodges, sister, Linda Corbin; and nephew, Michael Corbin.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
