WILLIAM ROGER SYLVESTER

William was born on Aug. 29, 1959 in Alpena to Robert and Janice (Hillman) Sylvester. He served in the United States Army. William enjoyed classic cars and spending time with his dog.

Surviving are his companion, Lori Fowley, four children, Angie (Keith) Repke, Jason (Sarah) Sylvester, Mandy Sylvester, Travis Sylvester, three grandchildren, Caitlyn Hundley, Justin Sylvester, Kenzie Kolnowski, one great-grandchild, Myelz McNeal, mother, Janice Sylvester, seven siblings, Kim (James) Gamache, Charlene Hale, Sherry Millard, Robert Sylvester Jr., Laurie (Lloyd) Douglas, Janice (Les) Seres, and Scott (Lynn) Sylvester.

Mr. Sylvester was preceded in death by his son, Justin Sylvester, father, Robert Sylvester, infant brother, Johnny, and brother-in-law, Roger Millard.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020 at Bannan Funeral Home from noon until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Herbert Kitzman officiating. Military honors will be accorded him by Alpena VFW Post 2496.
