MABEL E. SWEAZEY

Mabel E. Jacobs was born on March 24, 1929 in Alpena County to the late Charles and Grace (Spragg) Jacobs. On Sept. 15, 1951, she married Kenneth Sweazey. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2020. Mabel was a member of Spratt United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her three children, Sharry Sweazey, Douglas (Cathy) Sweazey, and Darlene Sweazey. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Sweazey; four sisters Rebecca Jacobs, Sarah Hill, Nellie Schiller, Ruby Jacobs; four brothers, James Jacobs, Delbert Jacobs, Irvin Jacobs, and Maynard Jacobs.

Visitation will take place Thursday at Bannan Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. and continue Friday at Spratt United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Duane Lindsey officiating.

Interment: Spratt Cemetery
