CHARLES HOWARD CORDES
Charles Howard Cordes, 15, of Atlanta, Michigan, gained his angel wings on June 18, 2020. He was born on April 7, 2005 in Alpena, Michigan to Bryan and Darlene Cordes. He resided in Atlanta all of his life and enjoyed being part of the Pied Piper School family. He enjoyed playing baseball and riding his bike. He loved people and was always smiling and wanting hugs. Charles was a true gift to his family and will be deeply missed.
Charles is survived by his parents, Bryan and Darlene Cordes of Atlanta, brothers, Patrick and Nicholas, grandparents, Gordon and Darlene J. Cordes of Hillman, grandmother, Karen Boman of Atlanta, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Doyle, and sister, Anna Marie.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Royston, Pastor Jason Mandley officiating with a meal to follow at the Cordes Home. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church from 2-8 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
