JOY VIOLA KARSTEN
KARSTEN, Joy Viola, 88, of Moltke Township, died on Feb. 14, 2020 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Karsten is survived by two children, Jean (Ron) Horrocks, of Onaway, and Myron (Dianne), of Dewitt, three grandchildren, Amanda, Corrine (Tom), and Brian (Sammy), four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke from 10 a.m. until time of her funeral at 11 a.m. with Pastor J. Derek Riddle officiating.
Burial will take place in the spring at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. John Lutheran School or McLaren Hospice in memory of Joy Karsten.
