WILLIAM RICHARD WEINKAUF
William Richard Weinkauf, 62, of Alpena, passed away at home on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019. Bill was born on Sept. 29, 1957 to Richard and Lelah (Alfsen) Weinkauf in Alpena, Michigan. He was a graduate of Alpena High School and then went on to serve four years in the United States Marine Corps.
Bill also was a graduate of Alpena Community College with a major in criminal justice. He was a very compassionate person who cared deeply for others and will be missed by many.
He enjoyed reading, drawing, writing music, and was an avid gardener.
Bill is survived by his mother Lelah, siblings, Bernard, Wendy, Patricia, and Caroline, nieces and nephews, Draz, Nick, Benjamin, Vincent, Micah, Tristan, Lily, Aubrey, and Brogan as well as his significant other Stacey L.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard and a nephew, Zachary.
