MARLENE MAE BANKS

Marlene Mae Peets was born in Arenac County on Nov. 10, 1937 to the late Lester and Alice (Ogger) Peets. She married Robert Banks on June 15, 1963. Together they engaged in farming and where member of Farm Bureau. Robert preceded her in death on June 13, 2015, just before their 53rd wedding anniversary. Marlene enjoyed knitting, genealogy and was a 4-H Leader.

Surviving are two children, Jean (Donald) Rowland, Timothy (Katha’leene Wallace) Banks; three grandchildren, James, Connor, Kathryn; and great-grandson, Evan.

Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by son Neale Banks; infant sister, Elaine and brother, James Peets.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and where the funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Millersburg
