He is survived by his eight children: Diane Stevenson, of Ocala, Fla., Edwin (Sue), of Alpena, Mich., Susan Compeau, of Lachine, Mich., Cindy (Rick) Montie, of Posen, Mich., Lois (Gary) Bendig, of Hubbard Lake, Mich., Bonnie McPherson, of Lachine, Mich., Bradley (Patricia), of Hale, Mich., Matthew (Jessica), of Lachine, Mich., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Larry (Doris) ,of Troy, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes Edwin was taken from Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. A complete obituary will be announced in a future edition of The News.
