LYOLA JOYCE SHARP
Lyola Joyce Sharp of Eaton Rapids, passed away June 6, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born in Alpena, Mich., Oct. 4, 1928, the daughter of Gerald and Elsie (Miller) Haltiner. Lyola was a former member of Cathro Community Church in Alpena and Grovenburg United Methodist Church in Holt, volunteered at Hidden Treasures in Lansing and loved spending time with her family.
Lyola is survived by her daughters, Susan (Duane) Norwood of Holt, Donna (Terry) Winstead of Barryton; sons, William (Cheri) Sharp of Eaton Rapids, David (Melody) Sharp of Chicago; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Isabel Rozonowski of Alpena; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Sharp; sister, Charmain DeRosia; brother, Robert Haltiner and sister-in-law, Mildred McLaren.
A memorial visitation will take place at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel, 518 S. Main St., Eaton Rapids on Saturday June 29, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Humane Society of choice.
