Janice Carolle Saile age 80 of Hawks passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2019, surrounded by her family.

She was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Detroit to Evan and Mazie (Wilson) Cheney.

Carolle graduated from East Detroit High School in 1957. On Dec. 29, 1967, she married Wayne Saile in Detroit. They moved to Hawks in 1982 where she enjoyed her family, quilting, gardening, reading and traveling.

Mrs. Saile is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne; six children, Michael of Gaylord, Karen (Pat) Lamb of Hawks, Wayne Jr. (Shannon) of Hawks, Ethan (Danielle) of Hawks, Adam (Lisa) of Rogers City and Alison of Hawks; 10 grandchildren, Evan, Corinne, Justin, Alexis, Jazmyn, Madison, Brooke, Danae, Sarah and Tyler; one great-grandson, Preston; one brother, Peyton (Donna) Cheney of Lovells; close cousin, Suzanne Strickland of Atlanta, Ga.; and special friend, Donna French of Rogers City.

She was preceded in death by; her parents, Evan and Mazie; and a grandson, Wyatt.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. through time of her funeral at 1 p.m. with Pastor J. Derek Riddle officiating.

Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
