ALAN DUVALL
Alan Lester Duvall, 70, of Hubbard Lake, passed away on Tuesday June 11, 2019 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Midland. Al was born on June 30, 1948 to the late Lester and Eleanor (Williamson) Duvall in Detroit, Mich. As a young man he joined and served 6 years with the United States Army Reserves. Al worked for Oakland County for over 30 years until his retirement in 2003. On April 17, 1971 he married the love of his life Patricia McQuade in Ferndale, Mich.
Al enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. He loved watching the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, Lions and was a loyal University of Michigan Fan. He participated in many different golf leagues in the Detroit area and enjoyed watching golf as often as he could.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Pat, two sons, Steven Robert (Tera) Duvall of Denver, Colo. and Jason Alan Duvall of Ferndale, Mich., a grandson, August Duvall, and a brother Donald (Elaine) Duvall of Alpena, Mich.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. on Sat. June 22, 2019 at Trinity Episcopal Church with The Very Rev. Bill McClure officiating.
