SHERRY LYN BEITLER

She was born Oct. 27, 1965 to Ronald E. Beitler and Margaret Woodworth in Detroit.

Sherry so loved people. She enjoyed going out on her outings each week. Bowling, social groups, shopping, or just out on a walk. She loved visitors always the attention on her. Her favorite birds were Cardinals and doves. They came to visit her often. She enjoyed viewing mass on TV and praying was essential. She loved the rosary.

Sherry Lyn is survived by her best friends and caregivers, Beverly and Brian Kienzle, and their grandchildren, Krystal, Leigha and Cameron Belanger, her mother, Margaret Norton, her sister, Donna M. Beitler, her half-brother Michael Nordby, two nephews, Ryan Malarkey and Jason Beitler, two uncles Michael (Beverly) Beitler and Bill Brock, three aunts, Sherry (Mike) Smith, Jeannie (Bill) Widmayer and Amelia Woodworth, numerous loving cousins, and her beloved canine friend Patches.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Beitler, her loving grandparents Ernest and Kathleen Beitler, and her aunt Kathy Brock. Cousins: Tim Pigeon, Steven Brock, Tony Beitler, William Adams.

Friends may call at Gillies funeral home in Lincoln on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m. Father Robert Bissot will officiate. Please honor Sherry Lynn by wearing purple to her service. This is for the battle her father fought with cancer. Memorial donations are suggested to the Cerebral Palsy foundation.
