DAVID BRUCE ELLER

David was born Sept. 8, 1946 in Alpena to the late Victor and Geraldine (Nordstrom) Eller. He served in the United States Navy as sonar technician aboard the USS Furse from 1963-1969 when discharged. On Feb. 15, 1969 he married Karen Scheen. David worked at Besser International Sales for 36 years, retiring in 2007.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Karen; three children, Eric (Dawn) Eller of Cadillac, Angela (Allen) Neubecker of West Branch, Rebecca Eller of Alpena; six grandchildren, Rebecca (Rash) McMasters, Brandon and Heather Eller, Ethan, Owen and Aiden Neubecker; one great-grandchild, Emily McMasters; special adopted family, John, Patti and Katie Rash of Indian River.

Mr. Eller was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Willis.

Family will receive guests on Sunday, May 19, at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 1:30 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating followed by military honors accorded him by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
