BARBARA JEAN GRIFFIN

Barb was born Dec. 19, 1936 in Alpena to the late Emil and Vernia (Gagnon) Szczukowski. She married Herbert Kindt in 1956 and later married Donald Griffin in 1988. She enjoyed dancing, music, playing cards, and was a great friend to many.

Barb is survived by her four children, Lori Gillespie, Randy Kindt, Becky Kindt, Terry (Julie) Kindt; two sisters, Beverly Jaeger, Darla Barton; seven grandchildren, Chrystal (Ron) Sparks, Shawn (Randi) Kindt, Justin Kindt, Danielle (Rob) Dolin, Kara (Jordan) Waite, Kyle Kindt, Kristina Kindt; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; special friend Roy Bellanger; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both husbands, grandson Travis Kindt, and brother Emil Szczukowski.
