CLARENCE DAVID ZOLNIEREK

Clarence was born in Alpena on Oct. 4, 1934 to the late Joseph and Thelma (Szymanowicz) Zolnierek and married Janet Greer on Aug. 6, 1960. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2008. He sailed on the Great Lakes for Inland Lake Management retiring as a First Mate in 1999. He was a member of the Corvette Car Club and enjoyed woodworking and gunsmithing.

Surviving are his two children, Timothy Zolnierek, Susan Zolnierek; grandson, Christopher Hill; great-granddaughter, Zelia Hill; brother, Walter (Donna) Zolnierek; sisters-in-law, Janet Zolnierek and Bernice Zolnierek.

Mr. Zolnierek was preceded in death by an infant sister, Helen and two brothers, Leonard Zolnierek and Joseph Zolnierek.

Memorial visitation Sunday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Scott Lawler officiating.
