Alfred Norstrand
NORDSTRAND, Alfred William, 94, died peacefully at 12:30 a.m. just eight days before his 95th birthday.
Surviving are his five children, Arthur (Ann) Leeseberg, Carol (Harold) Barr, Joyce (Dale) Domrase, Wayne (Margie) Leeseberg, Phyllis (Ray) Short; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Beaulieu; and sister-in-law, Judy Nordstrand.
Visitation will take place on Thursday at Bannan Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. with military honors accorded him at 6 p.m. by Alpena V.F.W. Post 2496. The funeral service will be there on Friday at 1 p.m. with Seminarian Mary Hughes officiating. Complete obituary will appear in a future edition of The News.
