GLADYS A. LaMARRE

Gladys Annette Slominski was born to the late Peter and Rose (Smigelski) Slominski on Oct. 11, 1929. She married Virgil E. LaMarre on Sept. 25, 1948. He preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2011.

Surviving are her children, James (Diana) LaMarre, Mary (Douglas) Barrett of Fort Collins, Colo., Joan LaMarre, Jean LaMarre, David (Christina) LaMarre, Michael (Annette) LaMarre; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Barrett, Rebecca (Robert) Young, Ashley LaMarre; six step-grandchildren; brother, Peter (Pat) Slominski; and sister, Esther MacArthur.

Mrs. LaMarre was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth LaMarre; brother, John Slominski; sisters, Verna Girard, Frances Mainville, Lottie Bolenz.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, Nov. 25 at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and where the funeral service will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Fitzpatrick officiating.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
