LILLIAN MARJORIE BUCK

Marge was born in Hubbard Lake, Mich., on March 29, 1928 to Elmer E. and Lillian Margaret (Walton) Gerow on the family farm. Marge was raised on the family farm where she developed her love of horses. Marge graduated from Alpena High School in 1945. Marge enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and traveling after retiring from Michigan Consolidated Gas Company to include Las Vegas, California, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, London, Paris and the Bahama Islands.

Marge is survived by her children, Michael (Nancy) of Grand Blanc, Mich.; Steve (Vicki) of Rockport, Texas and Barbara (Archie) Turner of Victoria, Texas; daughter-in-law Barbara Buck of Owosso, Mich.; daughter-in-law Peggy Buck of Radclilff, Ky.; sister Charlotte Ortlieb of Monticello, Ga.; brother Ralph (Barb) Gerow of Hubbard Lake; grandchildren Susan (Troy) Pickett of Davison, Mich.; Brian Buck of Flint, Mich.; Matthew (Sarah) Buck of Arvada, Colo.; Terri Jo Buck of Phoenix, Ariz.; Eric (Jackie) Buck of Stockbridge, Mich.; Berti Walker of Jellico, Tenn.; Shannon Buck of Pioneer, Tenn.; Aaron Buck of Gulfport, Miss.; and great-grandchildren Victoria Pickett, Nathan Buck, Stryder Buck, Scarlett Buck, Tyler Buck, Savannah and Jessica Garrett.

Marge was preceded in death by sons Kenneth and Robert, and sister Betty Lewis.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to Hospice of Michigan, NE Michigan Home Health Care, long time caregiver Christine Clickner, and very special neighbor Wayne Gagnon.

Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Friday from 3-7 p.m. and will continue Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Alpena from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Seok Nam Lim officiating.
