JOHN H. KELL
John H. Kell, age 73, of Alpena, passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena, after an extended illness.
On April 9, 1945, John was born in Flint, Mich., to the late John and Edith Kell. He served in the United States Air Force. John worked for Presque Isle Corporation for many years. He married Janice “Jan” Macijewski on April 23, 1988. John was a life member of the Sportsman Club and the NRA; an avid fisherman and loved his dogs and cigars.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Jan; one son, Chad Kell and family of Denver, Colo., and several close nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet and Pauline.
Per his wishes, he has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
