VERNELL JAMES RENSBERRY

Vernell was born on Dec. 16, 1923, in Alpena to the late Voyle and Pearl (Dent) Rensberry and married Audrie Cochrane on Oct. 27, 1945. Vernell retired from Abitibi in 1988 following 29 years of perfect attendance. He was a member of Huron Shores Fellowship.

Surviving are his wife, Audrie; four children, Judy and Gilbert LaCross, Rev. Duane and Linda Rensberry, David and Sharon Rensberry, Jill Odem; nine grandchildren, Curtiss and Gena LaCross, Bradley and Jeanine LaCross, Aaron and Tina LaCross, Dr. Matthew and Erica Rensberry, Marcus and Meredith Rensberry, Dana and Ron Forman, Doug (Meghann Talaski) Rensberry, Jenna Odem, Colton Odem; 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rensberry was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Manley.

Mr. Rensberry is at the Bannan Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and will continue on Friday at Huron Shores Fellowship from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jack Williams and Rev. Duane Rensberry officiating.

Interment: King Settlement Cemetery
