WILLARD E. ALEXANDER
Willard E. “Alex” Alexander, 87, of Midland, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at his home. He was born June 1, 1930, in Pontiac, the son of Thomas Ernest and Myrtle Irene (Carpenter) Alexander. He graduated from Alpena High in 1949.
On May 14, 1955, he married Patricia Anthony in Mt. Pleasant.
Alex is survived by his children Barbara Anthony-Alexander and her partner James Decker, Luci (Dale) Liphard, Kelly (Rick) Reger, Morgan (Kristen) Alexander; sisters Patricia Huggler, Joy Christian, and his brother Arthur (Marjorie) Alexander. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, grandson Tony Lee “Bud” Watkins, and brothers Roger, Duane, Donald, and Dwight “Tommy.”
Funeral services took place on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home.
