DARLENE SMITH

Darlene (Ludwiczak) Smith, 67. of Fort Walton Beach Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Darlene was born Oct. 13, 1950, in Alpena, Mich., to William and Betty Ludwiczak. She married Richard “Snuffy” Smith on Feb. 10, 1973. He preceded her in death. Darlene is survived by two sons Chad and Scott Smith and several grandchildren. She left behind a long-time partner John Kenney; one sister Maxine McGraw of Montrose; and brother Tom Ludwiczak of Alpena, Mich. She lost two brothers, Jerry Ludwiczak of Black River Mich., and Jack Ludwiczak of Alpena, Mich., in 2012.
