KENNETH PAUL DUPUIS

Kenneth was born on Oct. 12, 1930 in Detroit to Joseph Amedee and Elizabeth Barbara (Boguszewski) Dupuis. Ken served in the United States Army from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1952. He married Ruth Alvalene Tyra in Auburn Heights on Nov. 1, 1958. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church-Alpena and a life member of VFW Alpena Post 2496 and the Military Order of the Cootie.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; four children, Andrea, Angela (Rodney) Galbraith, Joseph, Thomas; 10 grandchildren, Lisa, Kristin, Kimie, Jonathan, Matthew, Danielle, Ashley, Michael, Kenny, Sydney; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis LaFrance; and a sister-in-law, Betty Tyra.

Mr. Dupuis was preceded in death by granddaughters, Aimee, Kristina; and a sister, Virginia Gould.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Alpena from 12 noon until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Margaret Fox and Rev. Sanford Wright officiating. Military honors will be accorded him following the service by VFW Alpena Post 2496. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church-Alpena, Hospice of Michigan or Friends Together.
