HELEN IRENE LUSK

Helen was born June 16, 1924, in Posen, Mich., to Albert and Ann (Buza) Ristau. She volunteered as a Senior Companion for over 30 years, enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. A kind and simple woman who enjoyed simple things, she was always pleasant, smiling and kind-hearted.

Surviving are three daughters, Cecelia (Douglas) Heath of Felch, Mich., Mary Jane (Roger) Jensen of Gladstone, Mich., Delores Peters of Alpena; four grandchildren, Andrea, Scott, Kelly, Glen; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Regina Baker, Lillian Dziesinski; three brothers, Otto, John and Anthony Ristau; a step-sister, Martha Keller; and three step-brothers, Edwin, Bill and Leo Szumplawski.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at McWilliams Funeral Home-Alpena from 3 p.m. until the time of the vigil service at 6:30 p.m. with Fr. James Kendziorski officiating. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Online condolences may be registered at www.mcwilliamsfh.com.
