DENNIS HALL

Dennis “Denny” Hall, 71, of Ossineke, died at home Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017. Denny was born Feb. 15, 1946, to Robert and Dorothy (Lamp) Hall in Alpena. Denny enlisted in the Navy out of high school where he served on the USS Enterprise. He was a lifelong resident of Ossineke who loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He married Diane Mazur on Sept. 29, 1990. He was a member of the AQHA, NRA, and Hope Lutheran Church. Denny was a trophy skeet shooter, an avid woodworker, and a cowboy at heart. Denny is survived by his wife, Diane; two daughters, Sarah (Andrew) McLaren of Alpena, Dr. Lisa (Jess) Halleck of Petoskey; three siblings, Donna (Ron) Kowalski of Ossineke, Deborah (Jerry) Walker of Hertford, N.C., William (Carol) Hall of Alpena; two grandchildren, Adam Brilinski, Violet McLaren; and many nieces and nephews. Denny was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Hall. Denny is at McWilliams Funeral Home where visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, 2017, from 2-8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev.
