MARTIN WILLIAM GLASER

Martin was born Aug. 9, 1945, in Alpena to the late Samuel and Mathilda (Schultz) Glaser. On April 19, 1997, he married Delia (Dee) Maroney in Clio. Martin worked at General Motors for 32 years and later at South West Brakes for 10 years and finally retired in 2010. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Flint and an active member of East Flint Lions.

Surviving are his wife, Delia (Dee); three sisters, Esther (Harry) Kubbe, Ruth (Allen) Reynolds, Helen (William) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Glaser was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Marty Dakin.

Memorial visitation will take place at Hope Lutheran Church on Friday, Sept. 29, from 4-8 p.m. and continue there on Saturday from 12 p.m. until the memorial service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Randy Conley officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Inurnment: Salem Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Leader Dogs of Michigan, St. Mark Lutheran Church, Flint or Hope Lutheran Church.
