She is survived by her husband, Martin; son, Martin (Diana) of Hillman; daughters, Lourie Cook and Sandra (Randy) Piotraczk both of Burton, Mich.; five grandchildren, Alexander, Jillian, Shelby, Martin T, and Victoria; great-granddaughter, Myla; brothers, Earl (Shannon) Schalk of Columbus, Mich., and Lyle, Wayne (Joanne) and Allen Schalk, all of Hillman; sister, Cherlyn (Jack) Hibner of Clio, Mich.; and sister- in-law, Shari Schalk of Millington, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Agnes; and brother, Eugene Schalk.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St John’s Lutheran Church, Pastor Jason Mandley officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 4-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home, Hillman.
