CARMEN ELAINE GLOMSKI

Carmen “Connie” Glomski, age 81, of Alpena, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Tendercare Greenview in Alpena.

She was born on Oct. 13, 1935, in Alpena to the late Jeremiah and Alice (Carpenter) St. Onge. On May 14, 1955, she married Robert L. Glomski at St. Anne Catholic Church by Mgsr. Simon. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church of All Saints Parish and a member of St. Anne’s Ladies Sodality. Connie enjoyed spending her time oil painting, ceramics, and crocheting.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Robert L. and their six children: Debbie (David) Miller of Alabama, DaLynn (Floyd) Dalton of Washington, Robert J. Glomski of Wisconsin, Richard Glomski of Alpena, Rogers (Diane) Glomski of Warren, and Diane (Jim) Phillips of Alpena. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by six brothers, Orel, Kenneth, Joseph, Pat, Ford, and Jerry St. Onge, and her three sisters, Faybelle Wikaryasz, Shirley Card and infant sister Florence St. Onge.

Family and friend will gather for visitation at St. Anne Catholic Church of All Saints Parish on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial begins with Rev. Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating. Arrangements are being handled through the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery
