HENRY EUGENE JONES

Henry Eugene Jones, age 79 of Buckley passed away on Jan. 12, 2016. Loving husband of almost 58 years to Carol. Cherished father to Laurie (Wes) Shoebridge, Gregory L. (Laurie) and Pamela Sue (Tom) Hunter. Grandfather of Rose, Wesley, Justin, Heather, Jason, Tommy and Bailie. Great-grandfather of six. Also survived by his faithful dog, Pixie. Henry proudly served his country for 21 years in the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. He enjoyed leather crafting and woodworking, specifically scroll work. He loved the outdoors: Hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He and Carol also enjoyed traveling to Arizona in their motor home. Henry was a devoted member to the New Beginnings Church in Manton. Per Henry’s wishes, his body was donated to Michigan State University for research and organ donation.
