HILDA ROSE BAUER

She was born July 28, 1915, in Pontiac to Charles and Eleanor (Suppus) Young.

Hilda graduated from Pontiac High School in 1935. On June 2, 1936 she married Lee Bauer in Auburn Heights.

Mrs. Bauer is survived by two children, Carolyn (Gordon) Brazas of Valle Crucis, N.C. and Dale (Patricia) Bauer of Rogers City; seven grandchildren, James, Todd, Heather, Kara, Stephanie, Thomas, and Mathew; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Joyce Young, Doris Young, Dorothy Brewer, and Blanche O’Dell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee on May 21, 1996; two brothers, Fred and Ken Young.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday, April 23, from 12 p.m. through time of her funeral service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Smuda officiating. Burial will take place next to her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Sunrise Shore or Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rogers City.
