Drugs found in undergarments during arrest
ALPENA — On Sunday, a 48-year-old-woman was pulled over by the Michigan State Police for several violations. Troopers located three syringes and a foil wrap containing suspected heroin. Additional drug paraphernalia was found inside the vehicle, indicating heroin use.
The suspect was lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
During the booking process, the woman was found to be hiding additional narcotics in her undergarments. The evidence recovered tested positive for heroin and methamphetamine.
The woman was arraigned in Alpena’s 88th District Court on one count possession of methamphetamine, one count possession controlled substance and bringing contraband into prison.
